UNSC Astrophysics is a branch of HIGHCOM that deals exclusively with stellar phenomena. Whenever an anomaly is seen and reported, details of it are sent to UNSC Astrophysics where the scientists study and attempt to explain it[1]. Additionally, they publish an astrophysics journal. Former Spartan-II soldier Fhajad-084 worked for UNSC Astrophysics after his discharge from the Spartan program, eventually publishing at least one paper for the journal[2].
UNSC Astrophysics also keeps observational databases that catalog all known phenomena. These databases are avaliable to the public.[2]
