In the Siege of the Atlas Moons UNSC forces fought the Covenant.[1]
Little to nothing is known of this battle except that Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb fought in the engagement and gained a reputation as a great military Commander. This was seen to be a rare victory for the UNSC, as victories in space-based fighting were uncommon for the UNSC Human Fleet.
