Summary
Steve Downes is the actor who voices the Master Chief in Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2. He is also a DJ for 97.1 FM WDRV "The Drive" in Chicago, Illinois. Downes hosts their weekday morning programming as well as the nationally syndicated "The Classics" on Sunday nights.
Before his involvement in Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, he was known for decades' worth of experience in radio, hosting nationally syndicated radio programs during the 1980's and 1990's, including the call-in "Rockline" during the 1990's and "The Classics" today.
