Marine Action Figures from Joyride
Spartan Action Figures from McFarlane.

Joyride Studios has been creating a line of Action Figures for Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 since 2003. After that, the Todd McFarlane company will be producing the Halo 3 Action Figure sets in March 2008. Due to Halo's great popularity, this line of figures has been extended to include more and more characters, yet the figures are still in short supply. Their success is due largely to the close interconnection ability of the figures with one another. Most of them are to scale with one another, and most feature completely interchangeable weapons.

Where To Buy

Australia- Target, Game, Joyride figures used to be in EB games

USA- Most department stores or toy stores (Wal-Mart, Toys R Us), Bookstores (Borders), and game stores (GameStop).

Figures can also be purchased online around the world.

Halo: Combat Evolved Series

Joyride Studios made the Halo: Combat Evolved Action Figures. These Action Figures are divided in 5 Series (without counting Mini-sets and exclusives. On each Action Figure unit Joyride has included a serial number that allows you to find when the Action Figure was created. The date code has four numbers followed by 'SS' actually stamped or embossed in the cardboard. The first three digits are the date the product was made, and the fourth digit is the year. For example: 2653SS means the product was manufactured on the 265th day of 2003 (9/23/2003).

Halo 2 Series

Halo 2 Action Figures were produced by Joyride Studios. The Halo 2 Action Figures are divided in 1o Series (without counting the mini-set and the exclusives). They are considerably different compared to the Halo 3 McFarlane Action Figures. The date code has four numbers followed by 'SS' actually stamped or embossed in the cardboard. The first three digits are the date the product was made, and the fourth digit is the year. For example: 2653SS means the product was manufactured on the 265th day of 2003 (9/23/2003).

Halo 3

Halo 3 Action figures are exclusively produced by McFarlane Toys. These figures feature new things such as Halo Points and removable Armors. They also have considerable differences from the ones produced by Joyride studios, such as the size (they are considerably smaller) and the detail (McFarlane's toys are usually remarkably detailed). These Action Figures also have much less Series than Joyride, but each series has more figures.

Halo Points

In addition to purchasing the figures from McFarlane, customers would also receive 10-35 HALO points per figure (With exception of 12-inch Action Figures, that give you 40 Halo Points.) in which can be redeemed for the HALO Points Program which starts in the Winter of 2008. The current possible rewards are a Halo 3 Lithograph, a Hayabusa Katana (that can be wielded, unlike in the game), Recon Armor (in red, blue, and Active Camo variations, note that even if the only difference between Red and Blue Spartans is the color the blue Spartan is more expensive.), and a metallic version of the Master Chief figurine.
