History
When a crashed vessel arrived at Installation 04 in 2552, Fitgerald evacuated the ship in the same lifeboat as Sergeant Johnson. When Foehammer and Echo 419 evacuated Johnson and other survivors from the crash, Fitzgerald volunteered to accomany the Master Chief in his Warthog to search for the other Bumblebee Lifepods. Fitzgerald introduced himself to the Chief enthusiastically with the Words, "Hey, Chief! Seargent Johnson said you could use a gunner." [1] He was wounded by a shot from a Needler after the Chief orderd him to man his position and keep fire till he returned.[2] He took cover behing the Hog' and waited untill the Master Chief was able to treat his wound with Self-Sealing-Biofoam and continued to man the LAAG and survived the fight to returned to Alpha Base with the Chief. He died in the Battle of Installation 04.
