Hey I was just wondering, why'd you change the image for the UoH invite template? Was there some discussion I missed? Phil.e. [Talk to me] 01:55, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

I was being bold as they say on Wikipedia. The other version was a black-on-white stuck on a black background, and not very friendly to the eyes. The white-on-black inverted version is a little weird, but much easier on the eyes when set on a black background. Just my take, though. Trying to help. --Dragonclaws(talk) 05:52, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

IP invite

um, thanks, but I already have an account. that was just me on my mom's computer.  ;-) thanks, though. --Charles II 00:36, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Oh, I've just been inviting every IP that hasn't been invited already. Sorry for the inconvenience. --Dragonclaws(talk) 02:44, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
No problem. just letting you know. ;-) --Charles II 02:53, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Why? I think it works fine. Also, why Marathon? We should try to move most of that stuff out to Pfhorpedia, anyway. --Dragonclaws(talk) 17:16, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Why Move The Halo CE stuff out of halopedia?? --þ†öW讥 ^ (UNSC Fleetcom)(UNSC History)(UNSC Mision Log) 22:26, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

No, just Marathon. --Dragonclaws(talk) 22:31, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Question

Hi, I noticed that it seems "Bureaucrats" were renamed to "Cabalists". Do you think you could explain how that was able to be changed? Thanks. (You can reply here.)   jj137 (talk) 21:36, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't know. Ask User:Guesty-Persony-Thingy or User:RelentlessRecusant. --Dragonclaws(talk) 21:55, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Ok, thanks   jj137 (talk) 17:07, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Halo-halo and Wikipedia attribution

I brought over a template from a Wikia I'm a bureaucrat on to help out in cases like this. It's used in the way you tried to use the Central Wikia's attribution template, only it's local. I grudgingly removed {{delete}} from Halo-halo since I'm not expecting it will be deleted anymore. --Coredesat 01:55, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Okay, thanks. I got a bit confused on the usage. --Dragonclaws(talk) 03:35, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Inappropriate forum title.

Hi Blemo! There is a forum title on the Halo: Combat Evolved section of the forum titled the95headhunter is a b**** (without putting the asterisks to cover the rude-word up).

The forum link can be found below and I was wondering if you could take any action against it:

Monitor/Installation Numbering

Dear Dragonclaws, I was directed to you by User:Spartan G-23 about the numbering of Monitors to Installations. I had thought this topic had already been cleared up, but if you could help us on this issue again, I'd be delighted. I myself thought that the numbering for the Monitor's corresponding to their Installation was this: Monitor#Trivia. And I thought, on this discussion page, this issue was resolved, but... for some reason Spartan G-23, still believes the Monitor's number for Installation 02 should be 14. -TheLostJedi 23:43, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

I'd be happy to discuss it further. Where? --Dragonclaws(talk) 05:36, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

This talk page is where the discussion is at. Your views on the topic will be appreciated, thank you again. -TheLostJedi 21:44, 01 November 2007 (UTC)

I can make out bits and pieces from my previous dabblings in quantum mechanics. If necessary, I'll look up some more?

RE: ilovebees Paragraph

Dear Dragonclaws,

Well, according to modern scientific nomenclature, this cryptic paragraph refers to a specific article in a scholarly journal: Journal of Higher Dimensional Physics, Volume 49, Pages 264-575, published in 2079, at least in my experience with biology-related scholarly literature. :P From what I can make of it from my limited understanding of physics and quantum mechanics, this paper appears to describe a mechanism by which Shaw and Fujikawa have been able to appropriately control D-branes in order to control the quantum strings bound by these D-branes, and thus effect the vibrations of these strings and possibly even the particles dictated by these string vibrations. This has some unknown connection to Slipspace, probably, possibly explaining the electromagnetic anomalies of particles moving at high speeds? O_o

Query

I'm just curious on a subject I've written a few weeks ago, specifically concerning a potential mistake in Contact Harvest. The details are on both the main page and talk page of the Epsilon Indi System page. I don't have the ability to contact Mr. Staten, but I'm curious if any of the admins know what to do. Thanks for your time. Regards, P03 James 01:12, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Try posting in the forums here. Bungie reads that sometimes. --Dragonclaws(talk) 01:16, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey Dragonclaws. I started a new project:User:Spartan781/Project 2. Check that page out, the prototype article, read it all, and state if you disapprove or approve of the new article to be rolled out. Thanks!--Spartan-781 Seaman.png CommCSV 13:41, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Heys! I gots an ideas!

Hey DC, good to see you again, hey while I was gone I came up with a great idea that could benifit the wiki community. I came up with the idea of a new Usergroup/Community Team for Halopedia, Halopedias very own Forge team! Now before I go on understand that I know about the policys and rules about this so consider this to be an idea(just like the Monitors of Halopedia) to be approved by you and the other admins. Basicly this would be a group of any number of individuals with a leader/organizer. Screening would included so not everyone joins. the rules would be that you need to have a basic knowledge of forge, have a good working knowledge on how to make FAIR,FUN, and EXCITING maps. Noone who makes maps for a single person or team would be accepted. People who wiss to join would send me(if it is OK that I be founder and leader, open to suggestion btw) an application on 1.Why they want to join and why they think they would benifit the community. 2. Examples of maps they have made. pics or vids would be great. and 3. If they have a particular role or job they would wiss to have such as Sandtrap only maps, etc. Anyways as I have said this is an Idea to be approved as this is also sent to the other admins. If you have any questions regarding this, contact me. BTW, good to see you again, I finally got unblocked! yay! WRAITH 21:24, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

UoH Legion Medal

Hey. I just dropped by to ask if I am applicable for another UoH Legion Medal (The one awarded for every 1000 mainspace edits). I have 2000 already. So am I applicable for the medal?--Spartan-781 Seaman.png CommCSV 10:49, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Nice to join you guys.

Hey Dragon, I was actually thinking of joining this site for quite some time. I got your invite last night while browsing this on my PSP.

Anyways, I am quite a nut when it comes to the history of the Halo universe and absorb all information about it like a sponge. I look forward to helping out as much as I possibly can in the articles and on the forums.

Thanks for your invite, I am glad im wanted =P.

Forge Team of Halopedia

I was wondering if you or any of the other Admins have thought this over yet. The previous message with most of the details is titled "Heys I Gots Ideas!" if you have not yet read it. Please tell me what you think at your earliest convienence. BTW sorry to be a pest, but I just am trying to find out as the community is more focused on other forum topics than this. WRAITH 21:58, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I've been busy. I personally am not a fan of these hierarchy-based usergroups where certain users have greater power and such. I think a more free wiki-typical group where people would enter a position to accept more responsibilities based on their merits (i.e. contributions) rather than an arbitrary system of ranks would fare better, my main opposition to the CoH, UoH, ect. Other than that, I like the idea of a Forge group in theory. --Dragonclaws(talk) 07:49, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for the message Dragonclaws. I am now a member of wikipedia. I will be happy to fix any errors found in any article.

P.S hope you enjoy Atlanta!

Sorry

Dragonclaws,

Sorry about the screwup on the CHRYSANTHEMUM article. Just to let you know, i do know that Project CHRYSANTHEMUM was a UNSC project. I just wanted to move it to "Project: CHRYSANTHEMUM", and I didn't know that would automatically change it to "Halopedia:".

Again, sorry about that,

Ah, okay. I couldn't see that in the history. --Dragonclaws(talk) 01:58, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Right, because "Project:" is a universal Wikia namespace that automatically changes to the name of the wiki. That way they can make default pages. --Dragonclaws(talk) 05:05, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Chicken Article

Sorry for making you delete it twice, I had gone in to add the "delete|reason" to the original page but by the time I finished it you had already deleted it so it made a new page instead. Gado 17:24, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

H:NOT

I put some ideas about Halopedia censorship in the General Disclaimer, should it be moved to H:NOT? --EDFile:ArmyROTC.gif 19:20, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, the disclaimer seems more a warning to the viewers, while the HP:NOT is a guide for writers. I could see both remaining as they are. *shrugs* --Dragonclaws(talk) 19:42, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Problems Uploading

Hello, Dragonclaws. I was told to come to an administrator if I was having problems uploading an image. I need some help because an image I treid to upload will not upload. I get the message that the file is corrupt or that there is an incorrect extension. I saved the image I wanted on microsoft word, clicked on browse, found it, and selected that it is for my userpage under liscencing, but I got that message instead of a successful upload. Need some clarification, Covenant Ghost 04:35, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Did you try to upload the Word document? You'd need the actual image file, and also I don't think you can upload bitmaps (.bmp). You can save the file in an acceptable format (.png works well, but also .jpeg/.jpg and .gif) using a graphics program like Microsoft Paint. If that doesn't answer your question, please rephrase. --Dragonclaws(talk) 08:54, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Main Page Weekly Poll?

Shoud we have a weekly poll at the bottom of the main page like the RuneScape Wiki? It'll only be for fun, not for an experiment or something. Thanks, BR55HB SR Battle Rifle.jpgEmosLegendary.jpg 04:59, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Fan Art Committee

Dear Dragonclaws,

Was just bring to your attention the Fan Art Committee (FAC). I was speaking to users @ the IRC, and I was critiquing a particular article when I noticed the main image was fan art. I asked why they'd placed it there and the response was it was approved by the FAC.

Sir, with respect -- I think no fan material in any form should be permitted on Halopedia. Halopedia is a place for canonical material, not for fan material. I ask if the FAC may be disbanded and fan art be immediately removed.

Regards,

RelentlessRecusant 'o the Halopedia Team GDI2.jpg TALKMESSAGE 04:33, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

I would disagree. Fanart can provide useful illustration at times. I would place restriction on it so that everything follow canon, but not condemn the lot. My opinion. --Dragonclaws(talk) 08:03, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
