| This new Plasma turret replaces the [[Shade]] in [[Halo 2]]. This stationary turret fires slow moving red plasma bolts that do large amounts of damage. This turret is placed on the Phantom and a rapid fire version on the Shadow. To protect the gunner, this turret is equipped with an energy shield, similar to the [[Jackal Personal Arm Shield]].
