The Laden was an independently-affiliated Parabola-class Freighter, but associated with the Eridanus Rebels. Its Registry Number was F-0980W.

The independent freighter Laden was a simple freighter with routes in the outer colonies, and captained by a man thought to have been killed during Operation: TREBUCHET. In 2525, several Spartans boarded the Laden and went to the Eridanus II docks. They later fulfilled a mission to capture Colonel Robert Watts of the Eridanus Rebels leader inside the Eridanus Secundus rebel base, located in the Eridanus asteroid belt, after the Laden inadvertently ferried them there.
