Summary
Instacrete is a material invented by UNSC scientists for use in combat zones. Instacrete is easy to shape and build with, incredibly strong, and dries quickly, allowing strong, permenant buildings to be hastily erected when they are needed.

The instacrete bunker was mentioned in Halo: First Strike, during the SPARTAN-IIs ground op on Reach.  It seems to be a structure made of a form of fast-drying concrete, which can be easily shaped and set up.  This is the only time in the books or the games that it is mentioned.  Not much more is known about it.
Instacrete is easy to use in creating strong bunkers for defense of facilities on the ground. Quantities of this material were around Reach should they be needed, and the Spartans did use them during the Battle of Reach.
