The Reyes-McLees Shipyards are a orbital shipbuilding facility located over Mars in the Sol system.[1]

Overview

Research and development

One of the yards' co-founders, Dr. Robert McLees, designed the company's Halcyon-class light cruisers original superstructure, leading to the ship's manufacture in 2510.[1][2] Unfortunately the ship's superstructure of cross-bracings and interstitial honeycombs were deemed overmassed and costly,[1] leading to only eleven of the fifty Halcyon ships manufactured featuring the original superstructure.[3]
