Algol, also called Beta Persei, is a three-star planetary system that was historically called the "Demon Star", located approximately 94 light years from Earth.[1][2]

History
In 2475, humanity colonized the Algol system, establishing a colony on Algolis. The colony was attacked by the Covenant in 2549,[1] some time prior to March 28.[Note 1]
