The Military Star is a military decoration awarded to members of the United Nations Space Command for excellence in leadership. The recipient is honored by having a newly discovered star system named in their honor through the Expansion Authority.
Veta Lopis was awarded the Military Star for her leadership during Operation: RETRIBUTION. However, due to her civilian status and correspondingly low security clearance, she was not made aware of her award .[1]
