New Carthage

Established in 2379 as one of humanity's Inner Colonies, New Carthage required no terraforming to sustain the lives of the colonists. The planet is covered in vast oceans, weathered shale mountains, alpine grasslands, and semi-arid grasslands and deserts, though New Carthage still hosts large stretches of unexplored hostile alien environments. Notably, the planet is home to Hannibal Weapon Systems, a well-known ordnance and matériel manufacturer. While New Carthage was lucky enough to survive the Human-Covenant War unscathed, recent years have seen the world subjected to Kig-Yar pirate raids and the awakening of a Guardian Custode.
