The Halo: The Master Chief Collection terminal trailer is a trailer for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It was first shown at the 343 Industries panel at RTX 2014. It shows the style and story featured in the game's terminals. The terminals will once again be developed by Sequence.

The trailer depicts a target profile report concerning Thel 'Vadam, compiled by Jameson Locke sometime after 2553. The report details 'Vadam's personal history from the start of the Human-Covenant War to the glassing of Reach and beyond. The report was later accessed by the Master Chief.[1]

TARGET VALUE: ALPHA

REPORT COMPILED BY
LT. COMMANDER
JAMESON LOCKE

The former Supreme Commander, Thel 'Vadamee, is shown on the battlefield armed with an energy sword in his right hand and clutching the fallen body of a UNSC Marine by the chest with his left. 'Vadamee throws the Marine to the ground and roars.

Thel 'Vadam: "I have had many names in this long war."

Cut to a human city being glassed by three CAS-class assault carriers.

Thel 'Vadam: "The humans knew me as 'Destroyer'."

In space, a R'shwupa-pattern Phantom shoots a GA-TL1 Longsword. The disabled starfighter crashes into the hull of a CAS-class assault carrier, which shrugs off the impact with minor damage. The camera pans to show a red planet, with the debris of several UNSC ships - including a Halcyon-class light cruiser and a Paris-class heavy frigate - visible.

Thel 'Vadam: "In the Covenant, I was Supreme Commander."

A holographic display of three CAS-class assault carriers engaging three Halcyon-class light cruisers and four Paris-class heavy frigates appears.

Two Sangheili are attacked while a third one with a Forerunner artifact is shown. Fade to Sanghelios, in a Forerunner structure, where three Sangheili kneel before three San'Shyuum. The Forerunner Dreadnought can be seen in the background.

Thel 'Vadam: "The Prophets named me... Arbiter."

A Prophet raises his hands. Fade to Thel 'Vadam, crouched on one knee in his Arbiter body armor being blessed by a Prophet before he receives his helmet.

Thel 'Vadam: "And your Master Chief calls me... friend."

A Sangheili ignites an energy sword. A Sangheili Ranger takes flight. Installation 04 explodes, a dogfight rages high above a city engulfed in ground combat and a Phantom is shot down.

The three Prophets look down, standing overhead, as a city is destroyed.

Thel 'Vadam: "How well do you know your friend, human? And what will you call me when you learn the truth of what I have done?"

'Vadam is shown in monochrome, facing the camera. The video begins to flash and a UNSC combat helmet is briefly seen drifting in space, as debris and a human body litter the background.
