The Aestuum-class mining ship is a civilian spacecraft class employed by humanity. The Aestuum is a fairly recent design and ships of this class often dominate interstellar travel lanes, though older ships such as the Springhill-class mining ship are still common sights.[1]

Trivia[edit]

The Aestuum-class mining ship is possibly named after the Sinus Aestuum (meaning "Seething Bay"), an extension of Mare Insularum on the Moon.
