Ixion is a human colony located in the Lapith system.[1]
History[edit]
Ixion was established as a Unified Earth Government colony in the year 2377, the same year in which humanity also colonized Dryad.[1]
During the Human-Covenant War, Ixion was left untouched by the fighting between the UNSC and the Covenant.[1] Former UNSC Captain Darren Leone had a niece, whom he barely knew, who lived on Ixion.[2]
Trivia[edit]
The colony is named after the Greek figure Ixion, a king who was punished by Zeus and bound eternally on a wheel of fire in the underworld.
