This article is about the medium variant of the plasma mortar mounted on Revenants. For other ground-based plasma mortars, see Plasma mortar.
The Class-2 medium plasma mortar is a variant of the Covenant plasma mortar mounted on the Rizvum-pattern Revenant and Eklon'Dal Workshop Marauder.[1][2] It is a downscaled version of the heavy plasma mortar mounted on the Wraiths. While charging, the plasma possesses a bluish tinge, though it is red when it is fired. The weapon has a less pronounced parabolic arc than its larger cousin. The mortar can fire once every two to five seconds.[3]
