**The bioroid armor is seems to be heavily inspired by the Manga and anime Guyver Bio Booster armor by Yoshiki Takaya. with the titular Guyver unit being a suit of living symbiotic armor created by an ancient race of aliens.

** this is poetic as both Master Chief and Sho Fukamachi were both children turned into super soldier Badasses against their will.
**The Name Bioroid sounds very similar to Zoanoid the name of the biologically augmented foot soldiers of the Chronos corporation.

Trivia

  • The Bioroid helmets are named after mythological beings of multiple human cultures and religions:
    • Apollyon is the Greek name for Abaddon, an important term for both Judaism (a place) and Christianity (a fallen angel) religions. In both religions, however, Apollyon/Abaddon is related to the concept of destruction.
    • Israfil is the name of one of the four angels who will blow the trumpet twice to signal the Qiyamah (the Judgement Day) in Islam: the first blow will kill all living creatures and the second blow will revive them.
    • Tithonus is a Greek figure, who's described as Goddess Eos' lover; in the myth, Tithonus became immortal but unable to age. Eos, unable to help him, made him into a cicada.
