Captain de Blanc was a UNSC officer. In 2535, he was the commander of the destroyer UNSC Resolute. After five hard days of fighting on Jericho VII, De Blanc took the Spartans aboard after the fall of the planet. He allowed the ship to remain in the system for a few hours so that Chief Petty Officer John-117 could watch the glassing of yet another Human colony with his own eyes. [1] De Blanc was never mentioned again, so it is unknown whether he survived the Human-Covenant War.
