Arthur-079's father |
- "If you can't win, you need to make the other guy wish he'd never beaten you."
- — Andrew Remo[1]
Andrew Remo was a human insurrectionist who was once the head of Herschel's most prolific crime syndicate. A friend of Staffan Sentzke, Remo was the father of Arthur-079, one of the children abducted and conscripted into the SPARTAN-II program.[2]
Biography
- "If it hadn’t been for him, I’d have signed myself into a mental hospital long ago."
- — Staffan Sentzke
Andrew Remo, often referred to as Andy, was the head of Herschel's most prolific crime syndicate and the father of Arthur Remo, who was abducted by the Office of Naval Intelligence and replaced with an identical flash clone. The clone never convinced Remo and began to search for the truth about the matter; his position as a crime lord allowed him to extort the local police force and city administration into providing all school records, police reports of missing children, and death certificates from that era.[3] Remo later met Staffan Sentzke, another parent like himself who felt his child's abduction was a government conspiracy. Together they went on to become colonial rebels. Due to his background, Remo already possessed many of the skills and attitudes required of an outlaw, which he passed on to Sentzke—who had up until then been an ordinary citizen.[4][5] He later died knowing that Sentzke would continue to search for information on what really happened to his son.[6]
