In 2560, Tovarus was present at the Installation 07 conflict, during which the Jiralhanae encountered the Spartan-II John-117. He and Hyperius engaged the Spartan after he had destroyed three Gorespike cannons, but they were unsuccessful, and died at his hands.[1]
