This is probably something most people have already noticed, but I just wanted to throw in that we get to see her with her helmet on near the end of the tutorial, right before you start the final MP-match-style section. Pretty sure it's the only place we ever see her helmet. [[User:Alex T Snow|Alex T Snow]] ([[User talk:Alex T Snow|talk]]) 13:18, November 19, 2021 (EST) |

London[edit]
I think we need to wait until there is a lot more info before we assume that what we saw in the Multiplayer cinematic was in 2552. I've seen everything from theories that it is, to that Earth is attacked by the Banished in 2559 and Multiplayer takes place several years later. We have no facts yet, only assumptions, and this site has always held a reputation for rigorous fact-checking. I myself remember having to prove extensively that a building in the Halo 5: Guardians opening cinematic was in fact a building and not a ship. We need more on this cinematic before things are posted about it.--The Ragin Pagan (talk) 11:14, August 29, 2021 (EDT)
- To cross off a few things (some not addressed in the post above, just to try and cover as many bases as possible for this)
- 1. The younger person is deffo Laurette. Like if you compare the faces very carefully its her. (Like I mean really carefully, bumps and the like are on both faces.) So this disproves the theory they are different people, but in-fact one and the same.
- 2. There is zero "Banished" stuff in the cinematic. The Banshee despite being the Infinite one was lacking the plating on it that the actual Banished version has. And its not like the Brutes weren't wearing similar armor during Reach. So this essentially means if it is the Banished they were using zero modified stuff at all. It also means it could be any faction at all if not the Banished or Covenant.
- 3. We know the present day stuff in the cinematic happens during Halo Infinite. Canon Fodder Issue 115 says this "With the Chief and other heroes occupied both at Zeta Halo and elsewhere across the galaxy, the need to train and prepare a new generation of Spartan super-soldiers has fallen on the very capable shoulders of Spartan Agryna, who is no stranger to what it means to have heroes that can be relied on. After enduring many challenges of her own, she’s now the one helping give others new chances to make a difference.". This means that by 2560 Laurette became a Spartan Commander and was training away.
- 4. The Type-57 Phantom "can" appear before 2557. The Type system is just when its recorded properly, not when it was created.
- 5. It cant be prior to 2552 cause ya know that indeed would break canon.
- If we take 1, 3, and 5 together, Laurette has to like grow up and become the Spartan we see in the present day stuff. The age difference between Laurette in London, and Laurette training Spartans would push it being closer to 2552 than 2559.
- if we take 2 and 4 together, it means that nothing is really holding it back from being any faction in particular.
- In conclusion: It has to be closer to 2552 year wise than the latter half of the 2550s, and if not the Covenant its some random faction.-CIA391 (talk) 12:17, August 30, 2021 (EDT)
