Antigravity barges are vehicles used by the Covenant for civilian transportation in their cities and major installations.[1]
The barges use antigravity generators for lift. They are used in major cities such as High Charity, and are normally used to transport large numbers of Unggoy and Kig-Yar. The barges can be overloaded, causing them to crash, which was a normal occurrence on High Charity.[2] On High Charity, they were controlled by the city's transportation grid. Many higher ranking members in the Covenant have their own personal gravity barge for their own use.
