The UNSC Sentry of El Morro is a warship in service with the UNSC Navy. Its captain, Captain Juno, never trusted smart AIs, and thus the Sentry of El Morro does not have one attached to it. At least a day after the Created began to subjugate Earth, the ship was attacked by the Warden Eternal. The Sentry of El Morro broadcast a distress call, which was received and answered by Roland, the shipboard AI of the UNSC Infinity, who said that the Infinity was on its way to help. Admiral Serin Osman and Fleet Admiral Terrence Hood also intercepted these transmissions via slipstream space probes launched from their position on Rossbach's World.[1]
Trivia
In Spanish, "el morro" means "the promontory". The ship was possibly named after the real-life Castillo San Felipe del Morro, a Spanish fort in San Juan, Puerto Rico known for its sentry tower.
