Greydowns was a human colony planet. At some point during the Human-Covenant War, Covenant forces under Supreme Commander Thel 'Vadamee attacked and glassed the planet.[1][2]
Production notes
While stated to be a human-colonized world glassed by Thel 'Vadam's forces, Greydowns is clearly depicted as a gas giant; the planet is virtually identical to Jupiter in particular. While this may be a production error, it is possible that the colonies were located on the planet's moons, similar to the human colonies in the Jovian Moons.
