Seasons are a feature of Halo: The Master Chief Collection following the 2019 release of Halo: Reach and the collection for PC, serving as the game's post-launch support.
List of seasons
- Season 1: Noble - The first season implemented within The Master Chief Collection, beginning on December 3, 2019. Titled "Noble" after NOBLE Team, this season focuses on Halo: Reach, including the game's armor customization system.

- Season 3: Recon - The third season was launched with the release of Halo 3: ODST for PC. Titled after Halo 3: ODST's original title (Halo 3: Recon), this season focuses on Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST, adding weapon skins and visor colors to Halo 3, while reintroducing ODST's playable Firefight characters, and also adding nameplates.
- Season 4 - Season 4 will bring additional cosmetic customization options to Halo 3 and Halo 4.[1][2]
Season points
Season points are a new in-game currency introduced with the Season system. They can be used within the various unlock tiers of each season to unlock armor permutations, skins, nameplates, Firefight voices, and more. Initially, season points could only be earned by progressing in the game's rank scheme through regular multiplayer, though the addition of Challenges has resulted in a wider array of season point earning potential across multiplayer, campaign, Firefight, Forge and custom games. Season points are a purely in-game currency, and cannot be bought through real-world purchases.
