ONI: Sword Base is the third track heard on the Halo: Reach Original Soundtrack. It contains the track Sword Control, Incommunicado, Inbound; Imminent, Aim to Please, and Latchkey.
Appearances
The soundtrack can be heard played throughout the third campaign level in Halo: Reach, ONI: Sword Base. The musical section Latchkey is also played in the closing cinematic of the fifth level, Tip of the Spear, in which the UNSC Grafton destroys the Covenant Spire but was immediately shot by the Covenant supercarrier Long Night of Solace.
Trivia
- The music shares its name with not only a campaign level, but also with a secret Office of Naval Intelligence research facility.
- The track Aim to Please is a reference to Noble Six's quote in the ending cinematic of the level.
- The track Sword Control can be heard in the ViDoc A Spartan Will Rise.
- The track Aim to Please has a very similar tune to Destroyer's Invocation, the first track of the Mausoleum Suite from Halo 2.
