The HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I [J] Armor Defense System, nicknamed the Green Machine, is a variant of the HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I ADS.[1][2]
Gameplay
The Mark I [J] makes its debut in Halo Wars 2 in the form of the "Green Machine", a personalized Mark I [J] suit used by Leader Sergeant Johnson.[1] The Green Machine includes energy shielding that regenerates after it has not been hit for a few seconds; this plays well with hit-and-run raids and well-timed combined-arms strikes. - Although Johnson is canonically dead during the events of Halo Wars 2, 343 Industries writer Jeff Easterling has confirmed that the Mark I [J] variant exists in canon.[4]
- The "[J]" classification is likely a reference to Johnson's surname.
