Poker Squad was a UNSC Marine Corps squad aboard UNSC Infinity.
Background
In 2558, the UNSC Infinity returned to the shield world Requiem. At some point, Poker Squad encountered a wounded Elite willing to sell information on a Covenant listening post in order to stay alive. Pleased, Sarah Palmer ordered Poker to check out the information and then make the deal.[1] Later during a Covenant attack on Lockup, Poker Squad radioed in that they needed backup. Fireteam Crimson managed to arrive while they were under attack from Prometheans. Together they were able to defeat all the Promethean forces in the area.[2]
