:::Aka my main arguement is, in both sources you two are showing the Halo Wars variant is never shown at all. So it does leave it open for us.-[[User:CIA391|CIA391]] ([[User talk:CIA391|talk]]) 06:45, 24 January 2018 (EST) |

Confirmation of Type-28
Is there actual confirmation that the Type-28 actually exist? From the Type-25's Trivia section, "the Spirit dropship was erroneously designated as the "Type-28 Troop Carrier" during the development of Halo: Reach; this was soon corrected following the release of the game. This error, however, persists in the 2011 edition of the Halo Encyclopedia.[5]" Even the latest source on the Spirit seems to indicate that the Type-28 is nothing more than a typo. — subtank 11:50, 23 January 2018 (EST)
- The 2011 and 2010 version of the Encyclopedia shows the Halo Wars 1 variant. Not the Halo Reach/CEA variant. ;) Both the Type-25 and Type-28 have distinct designs and no source says they are both Type-25 Spirits. The Type-28 is also seen with a Gravity lift into the cockpit of the Spirit(Halo Wars 1) Something that isnt seen in use at all in the T-25 model.(if the Type-25 does have it, we just never seen it used)
- Plus even if the Encyclopedia used the error to get the Type-28 classification(nothing to say it did or didnt mind you). Its the only source giving a name for this specific Spirit at all, which would of needed a page regardless, its a case of we use the only source we have and change it if needed, wont be the first time we used a term from the Encyclopedia, that 343i may later change. (Installation 04B was a term born from the Encyclopedia)--CIA391 (talk) 16:00, 23 January 2018 (EST)
- I agree that it was most certainly an error. Halo: The Essential Visual Guide also specifies that it was the Type-25 in Halo Wars. Halo Waypoint also makes no mention of the Type-28, but mentions the T-25 and T-57. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 22:27, 23 January 2018 (EST)

- And the Visual guide spotlights the Type-25 variant. Never showing the Halo Wars variant in it.
