"Scarab" is the name applied to a series of Covenant quadrupedal mining platforms.[1] Known models include the following:
- Banished Scarab - Used by the Banished.
- Type-29 Scarab - The model with the most powerful focus cannon.
- Type-36 Scarab - A model with similar armament to the Type-27 Mantis.
- Type-47 Scarab - The most commonly fielded model.
- Type-47A 'Protos' Scarab - A model of the Scarab specialized for artifact-retrieval.
- Type-47B 'Deutoros' Scarab - The most common Type-47 Scarab.
