General of the Marines?[edit]
I'm pretty sure that since the Army was disbanded during the formation of the UNSC/UEG, that a equivalent rank/pay grade was made for the UNSC Marine Corps. Though this is just pure speculation. CommanderTony

Higher Rank?[edit]
In the USN there is a rank called admiral of the navy. Here is the wikipedia page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Admiral_of_the_Navy_(United_States)
- No one's been promoted to that rank since the first one died. It isn't really relevant to the Halo Universe. 01:28, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
