Weapon-ships were small remotely-controlled combat craft used by the Forerunners. Deployed from larger ships such as Fortress-class vessels, weapon-ships operated in automated phalanx formations and could be controlled at a ratio of up to a million ships per warrior.[1] Various classes of weapon-ship existed, with one of the smallest classes being the Z-1800 Phaeton.[2]
