Portside Shipping is a generic United Nations Space Command term for any center or position referring to the shipping of items from the port side, such as on an Orbital Defense Platform.[1]

Cairo Station Portside Shipping

During the first day of the Battle of Earth, a swarm of Yanme'e invaded Cairo Station's Portside Shipping, harassing the Marines stationed there until John-117 came through to get to Firing control and disable the Covenant bomb. After defeating the Drone swarm, the Chief killed the Covenant infantry occupying the massive cargo lift, then rode the lift down to the lower airlock.[1]
