Happy Birthday, Lauren! is text easter egg in Halo 3. It is hidden in the campaign mode's loading screen. The text was added by Adrian Perez and was dedicated to his wife, Lauren Perez.[1]
Overview
To access the easter egg, simply change the Xbox 360's date to Christmas day (i.e. 25th December or 12/25/2025). Then proceed to loading any campaign level and press both thumbstick down. The loading screen would start up but from a different angle, showing a scrolling message reading, "Happy Birthday, Lauren!"
