His distinctive dialect, unmistakable smart remarks and laid-back attitude make him instantly recognizable. A similar Marine, voiced by the same actor, is present in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Chips Dubbo is a UNSC Marine and ODST stationed on the Pillar of Autumn. - Australian players of Halo are often critical of Dubbo's accent, often suggesting that it is that of an American attempting an Australian accent and failing. Dubbo's voice actor, Andrew McKaige, is actually an Australian actor, with many Australian acting credits to his name including dramas, such as The Secret Life of Us and All Saints, and soap operas such as Sons and Daughters, Neighbours, and Paradise Beach.
