== The Unknown skull on Halo 3 ==
This skull is featured on the cortarna level (U don't get an achievment 4 this by the way). When you get to the point were u have to destroy the high charity and run for ur life, kill of the flood and then go down one of those organism paths back to the outer circle. You should see a raised platform which u can't access. Drop a deployable cover and jump ontop of it. Then aim to jump up onto the platform. Once u have reached the platform, run along it until u come to a point where it juts out. There should be a skull towards the end of this platform. If not on this platform then keep searching on another one. When you find it you must carry it for the rest of the level. This is much easier with 2 people.

Hard to Explain in a Title

Hi, --General "Marksman" Rogers 08:06, 18 April 2008 (UTC) here and im wondering how you can edit your user page like a real page. All i can edit are boxes saying where im from and such. I wanted to add links to a halo fanon story im making, but all i can do is put stuff in boxes.

The Unknown skull on Halo 3

Improvement Drive Article

For the nest one, it has to be Xbox LIVE. Because at the moment, its just poorly written, too short, and nowhere near the potential it could be, given Halo's history with it. --Specops306, Kora 'Morhek 08:42, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Feature

How do you have featured pictures and become the featured user?Spartan6 23:39, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Featured users are randomised, I would assume. --Specops306, Kora 'Morhek 03:11, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Tilt Skull

i did everything everyone told me to and i cant get the tilt skull (the one on the cortana level) i climbed up there and the skull wasnt there. there was just a pile of bones. i was on normal difficulty.

A pile of bones? Are you sure you weren't looking at a skull? If you didn't start from the beginning, you won't get it. That's truly strange.Rookie 162 03:46, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

A question about campaign.

If you play part of the Halo 3 campaign on co-op and some on solo, will it count as beating it?

Yes. It's just easier to brag if you do it yourself. The game won't care, though. --Dragonclaws(talk) 18:11, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Blog comments

Why, in all blog comments, is there a red "do not" sign next to all posters' ranks? If you do not know what I am talking about, please visit any blog on this site and look at a user's name above a comment. To the right of that is their rank, and then the symbol I described. If anyone has an answer to this please share.File:1206326695 Halo2emblem funny.JPG Rookie162 "Holla!""commitment level" 02:12, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Oh, okay. Thank you.File:1206326695 Halo2emblem funny.JPG Rookie162 "Holla!""commitment level" 21:20, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

campaign is so boring now

Campaign is so boring now I can't be arssed to do it on a higher difficulty.

Anybody else feel the same way?

This isn't a blog page. You can start a blog about this. Hover your mouse above the Blogs link on the right-hand side of the page, and click on Create Blog Post. You should learn about talk pages before talking. This particular one is as a forum, to ask question and answer others' questions. You also need to sign your username every time you leave a message on a talk page. To do this, add four ~'s after your comment. Armor

I got 820 gamerpoints in halo 3 and the game wont give me the security shoulders, what's wrong?

For some reason, the game doesn't exactly have a set gamerscore minimum to earn the Security shoulders. I got mine at around 700, while the article says differently. However, the article on Security shoulders does say that some gamers get the shoulders at different gamerscore values. I have a feeling it has more to do with which achievements you earn. Sorry that you haven't gotten them yet though, best of luck! (P.S. remember to sign your name on talk pages please, thanks)File:1206326695 Halo2emblem funny.JPG Rookie162 "Holla!""commitment level" 06:05, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Featured users huh?

How do you get your name on the Featured User sidebar? Because I have seen many people with much less points than me, so I know it's not about points... From Skinr

I believe that there is a random element to it. I'm unsure of the exact mechanics of it, though I suspect it also depends upon how consistent your edits are also. -- Councillor Specops306 - Kora 'Morhek 01:50, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
It's purely randomised from Top Users/Weekly. -- Manticore (talk) 01:57, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Long yellow box

For about five hours (from when I wrote this) there has been the usual yellow banner across the top of my screen that is shown on any wiki (except for Halopedia) that appears when you have a message. It says "You have new messages on Halopedia". In go there, but I clearly have no new massages, and the banner won't go away. What can be done to get rid of this? It's very annoying (for lack of a better word). (And hopefully I put this message to the correct place). Anubis 10545 07:09, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

This shouldn't be appearing at all; Halopedia new message notifications are only by email (known bug). -- Manticore (talk) 07:34, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Not sure where else to ask this...

What happened to the Monobook skin? I don't see any options in the Preferences to change the skin. Zeldafanjtl 23:53, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Everyone should probably read this

Hello, I'm Atarumaster88, an administrator over on Wookieepedia. We've already had a big discussion about this over on Wookieepedia and there's ongoing brouhaha on it at the central Wikia, but everyone should be aware of some important changes Wikia is planning on making, with or without your approval. See this page for more details, also a Wookieepedia thread.

If there are staff/Janitors that spot any errors in my statement, please correct them and let me know. ;-)

Sound off on it, please don't A) Flame the staff. It might be amusing, but it's probably not and it accomplishes nothing. B) Make empty threats. Consider the bluff called. C) Misinterpret the issue. Read before you click that edit tab. And then read again and look at it from both sides.

Discussion
  • I'll leave this place for the Halopedia community to sound off. Atarumaster88 (Talk page) 14:11, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
What the hell is going to happen with this skin?! It's already bad enough, but adding adds that is going to royally screw the pages. And we CAN'T switch to monaco because of THIS skin! WHAT THE HELL WIKIA?!

Meh. Who cares? It's simple enough to apply some custom CSS to hide the ads. Zeldafanjtl 17:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Yea, wikia screwed us over. They should have tested this on wookiepedia... or maybe uncyclopedia. The later would be hilarious. But if you think about it, some features are great. Board messages, profiles, blogs, I hold nothing against those features. Maybe a forum should be made to really get a community consensus about this. Pryo 'Zarkum Major-gr2.gif My COM My Work My Story 17:38, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

This will not be implemented on Halopedia at the same time as the other Wikia wikis. We're still on a separate codebase (hence the lack of MediaWiki 1.12), so we'll receive the new scheme at a later date. So we, as a community, have some time to dispense appropriate information about ad blocking to all our contributors. -- Manticore (talk) 07:55, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Either ways, we cannot delay the inevitable. The horrible skin will be implemented soon. I guess we just have to bear with the humongous, stupid and ugly advertisements.H-107 Subtle Tank 08:51, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

PC

Do Halos 2 and 3 work on PCs?

VimesV 14:47, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

...Halo 2 works only for the Vista (though some said that you can make it work on Xp...). Halo 3 won't work for the PC. It will, based on prediction, be out for the PC at 2011...File:Animated Sig.gif - H107SubtleTankCartographer 15:01, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
