Eden is a Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer map set in an AMG Transport Dynamics shipping facility inside Noctus, the capital city of Andesia.[1][2] Empire is the remixed version of Eden.
Gameplay
Eden has a larger abundance of catwalks and is asymmetrical in structure, but it replaces the sniper rifle that spawns in Empire's blue base with an energy sword. Additionally, Eden features an abundance of lightrifles, and an interactive element.
The interactive element on Eden is a trio of platforms that will lower and raise throughout the match when shot; it is located on the outer edge of the map that faces the skyline of the city.
A common complaint during the beta was Eden's lighting, which many players found to be too dark and advantageous to blue team. More recent (as of August 2015) screenshots show the map is now brighter and has a more monochrome color pallette, addressing the complaints.[3]
