Gaenir Beta is a Human colonie featuring vast frozen wastelands. Sometime in late 2554 or early-mid 2555, Alpha-Nine was deployed to the planet to fight fractured Covenant forces. During their mission, Spartans Edward Buck, Kojo Agu, and Michael Crespo arduously burrowed through the planet's eternal snowdrifts.[1]
