Medical Facility Endurance over Reach

Medical Facility Endurance[1] was an Office of Naval Intelligence space station that orbited the planet Reach. In 2525, the future SPARTAN-II soldiers underwent their enhancement surgeries on this station. Dr. Catherine Halsey and Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez oversaw the surgeries. Thirty of the candidates died during these surgeries, and another twelve became too crippled to ever fight again, leaving only thirty-three fit for combat.[2]

This station was likely destroyed when Reach was invaded by the Covenant in 2552.
