Template:Infobox Military Unit The 105th Drop Jet Platoon was a platoon of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers in the UNSC Marine Corps.[1][note 1]
Operational history
The 105th Drop Jet Platoon saw action against the Covenant military ground forces during the Battle of Jericho VII in February 2535 where it was overrun and obliterated by a force of a thousand Unggoy. The unit's annihilation would later be avenged when the offending Unggoy were eliminated by SPARTAN-IIs, led by Chief Petty Officer John-117, in the continued skirmishes of Jericho VII.[1]
Trivia
As platoons are not given permanent numerical designations, it is possible that the 105th was in fact the "105th's drop jet platoon", although a division would reasonably have more than one such unit.
