The Oros Trading Company is a human company based on Mars. The company has been manufacturing Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engines since at least 2544.[1] The company also produced Bactrian-class freighters, though the tug became widely antiquated on most human colonies by the mid-26th century.[2]

In Spanish, oro means gold, meaning that the company may either have dealt with gold in the past or is the "golden" company in their field of work.
