Template:Semicanon Template:Vehicle Infobox The Light Assault VTOL is a UNSC aerial vehicle designed to operate in confined environments for ground support and air-to-air combat.[note 1] Designed by ONI's top-secret REAP-X department as part of a line of exotic attack vehicles, the vehicle is heavily armed, equipped with twin autocannons and a pair of M302 rocket pods.

- ^ In a Q&A edition of the Halo Bulletin, Frank O'Connor confirmed that REAP-X itself is canonical and that the vehicles were created in collaboration with 343 Industries; however, MEGA Brands were given considerable latitude in the vehicles' designs. O'Connor hinted that the vehicles also canonically exist, though not with the exaggerated aesthetic of the toys.
