Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya in the East African Protectorate on Earth. The Nairobi Road and a railway line known as Uganda Railway running through Voi connected Nairobi to the coastal city of Mombasa.[1]

During the Battle of Mombasa, civilians who managed to escape the city by trains headed to Nairobi via Nairobi Road. It is unknown what became of the city during the Covenant occupation of Earth.[1]
