The Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta announcement trailer is a pre-rendered trailer announcing the multiplayer beta for Halo 5: Guardians.[1] The beta will begin on December 27, 2014 and end on January 22, 2015.[2]
First shown at Microsoft's E3 2014 conference, the trailer features several Spartan-IVs participating in a training simulator aboard a space station orbiting an unknown world. The new "Spartan abilities" is demonstrated during the trailer.
Transcript
Open to a space station in orbit over an unknown world. Stage lights activate, brightening the area.
Aboard the station, several Spartan-IVs prepare for a training simulator. A red Spartan clenches their fist, while a blue Spartan loads their rifle. Another red Spartan loads their rifle, while a blue Spartan looks up at the station's speaker system as a horn sounds.
- Blue Spartan: "Ready, let's move!"
Both Spartan teams begin to charge at each other. The red team hits launch platforms and are sent flying into the air. Fade to black:
NEXT GENERATION ARENA MULTIPLAYER
Cut to a red Spartan body-checking an unsuspecting blue Spartan.
60 FPS ON DEDICATED SERVERS
A blue Spartan slides along a line of crates, taking cover at the last one, and prepares to shoot a nearby red Spartan.
ALL NEW SPARTAN ABILITIES
A red Spartan lands on the ground, with the use of thrusters, knocking back a nearby blue Spartan.

Trivia
- The Blue Spartan who talks in the trailer is voiced by Nathan Fillion, better known by his role as Edward Buck in Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach.[3]
