The UNSC Roman Blue was a Halcyon-class light cruiser in service with the UNSC Navy during the Human-Covenant War.
History
In December 2530, Captain James Cutter decided to give his executive officer, Terrence Hood, command of Roman Blue. Three months later, during the Battle of Arcadia, the ship was assigned to recover a log buoy dropped by the UNSC Spirit of Fire. The Roman Blue was not to get involved in the battle, because Arcadia was already deemed lost.
However, Hood, in his pride and anger over the losses the Covenant were dealing humanity, ordered the crew to attack a CPV-class heavy destroyer. The Roman Blue was ultimately outmatched and Hood ordered a retreat of the system, without recovering Spirit of Fire's log buoy. Consequently, Hood came to blame himself for the loss of the Spirit of Fire.[1]
