Template:Planet Endymion was a human colony. It is the homeworld of Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, born there in Port Vernon.[1] At some point during the Human-Covenant War it was glassed by the Covenant.[2]

Endymion was a frontier world; although its towns offered comfortable middle-class living, wilderness always loomed beyond the boundaries of its settlements.[2]

Trivia

The city takes its name from Endymion, a shepherd in Ancient Greek mythology.[3]
