Escala III is human colony world located among the Outer Colonies. The planet's capital is Castiglione.
The planet appears to have been left unscathed throughout the Human-Covenant War. In 2558, Captain Thomas Lasky and Spartan Naiya Ray arrived on Escala III in search of the journalist, Petra Janecek.[1]
