Forerunner forts are Forerunner outposts guarded by large beam turrets and Sentinels. It is also surrounded by shield walls with ends meeting at the turrets. When sustaining enough damage, they are capable of retracting in on itself.[1][2][3]
Gameplay
The Forerunner forts are found on the Skirmish maps Repository, Labyrinth, and Blood River. Like the rebels' base, these forts serve as bases for the player to take over after destroying them. Simply use building killers, or other armored vehicles to destroy them. Twenty seconds after the fort retracts, it is available as a base location.
