Whiskey 039 was a UNSC Air Mobility Express D77-TC Pelican dropship, part of AMX-42. It assisted in the evacuation of Olympic Tower in New Alexandria during the Fall of Reach on August 23, 2552. During the battle, the Pelican picked up some evacuees, but came under fire from long ranged Shade turrets. SPARTAN-B312 eliminated the turrets, allowing Whiskey 039 to escape. [1]
